Let it be known, I have taken on a challenge - to do a YEAR OF SELFIES. There's been some backlash against selfies recently, mainly focused at younger girls and their taking pictures of themselves (mostly with their phones) and it's been derided as selfish and narcissistic. I believe this reaction comes from society's fear that if girls, and boys / women, men and everybody, begin to ACTUALLY LIKE themselves and the way they look, if they become more comfortable in their own skin, then they will have much less need of a lot of the "beauty" products we're inundated with on every media outlet ever.
So, if you like, you can follow along on my Instagram, but I promise it won't only be pictures of me, there's other cool stuff in my life that makes me smile. I will update here every few weeks.
Hmm, 365 pictures of me? This is going to get...interesting.
