Last day of Long Hair

9/12/2013

So, I shall be getting my hair cut tomorrow, a good 12" shorter, which I will be donating to Locks of Love. But before my hair goes under the scissors I took some pictures to document just how long it's grown over the last few years. And, just because, I did so in a corset while playing World of Warcraft.

(I'm still excited from the news of the new Warchief. See more about my exuberance Here. You'll find both cinematics. FOR THE HORDE!!!!)

Without further ado - here's the last night of my long hair.
Picture
Just logging on to WoW. I've got my dual screen set up. It allows me to be able to both play WoW and check tumblr...thus creating a time devouring vortex from which there is no escape. Actually, I use it to edit screenshots as I take them, work on my websites and have up guides and boss fight videos when I raid.
Picture
Alright, just doing a little tilling before heading off to find Vol'jin (leader of the Darkspear Trolls - the best race in game.)  I was curious if the Kor'kron still inhabited parts of the Barrens since 5.4 dropped.

And if you look closely, you can see my rhino with a lotus flower tattoo on my left shoulder.
Picture
OK, just ported over from the Shrine of the Two Moons to Orgrimmar (capital city for the Horde) and man are there a lot of Kor'kron guards here; you'd think they were planning something... Also, watch as my luxuriously long hair perches on my shoulder. Ain't it perdy.
Picture
Alright, after checking just above Razor Hill and finding the watch tower mostly deserted. Only a few Darkspear and Thunder Bluff Tauren (who will give you directions like a normal city guard ?!?) still wander the area. Well, my next best guess about Vol'jin's location-
Picture
There he is! Back in his home on the Echo Isles. I remember retaking this place, so awesome.
Picture
Vol'jin, You're amazing.

This game has such wonderful lore and it's a very unique experience to be able to take part in the stories.
Picture
Hmm...I'm just going to take a second and enjoy the view.

Again, look at the gorgeous sweep of hair down my arm.
Picture
Last two pics in this narcissistic journey -
Here's my hair after a long day at work, full of sweat and rain. It's all wild and free.
Picture
My brush has tamed it some, though it's still wavy from the moisture of the day.

Well that's it. Say your goodbyes.

-COMING SOON-

Jen's new haircut! Less hair and more awesomeness!

I'm a zoo keeper. I currently work with Rhinos and it is awesome.

These are my random observations about the world...and I do mean random.  I write about what catches my interest and my imagination.

Just as a note: There is the possibility of the occasional curse word. I will not overuse - but those words have power when carefully placed.

To become truly immortal, a work of art must escape all human limits: logic and common sense will only interfere. But once these barriers are broken, it will enter the realms of childhood visions and dreams. ::: Giorgio de Chirico :::
